Although Dark Horse is a new band hitting the Truckee Tahoe music scene, you might recognize the players from local and regional bands you’ve rocked out to over the years including the Beergardeners, Sugar Pines, Sixth Sense, Steel Sparrows, Sonoma Posse, Warren Jay Band and Radio Nowhere.
Michael Loomis—Electric/Acoustic/Slide Guitars
Dark Horse is a coming together of four accomplished musicians with a shared passion and vision to reimagine and celebrate unique and timeless rock and blues classics.
Michael Lubin—Drums/Vocals
Their thoughtfully selected song list includes tunes that feature a wave of intricate and intense 6 and 12 string guitar solos, complex vocal dynamics and the occasional flute highlight that are a rare pleasure to hear and enjoy.
